Who should we trust? Father YAHWEH and His Laws regarding food and health or the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), the Federal Drug Administration (FDA) and the Center for Disease Control (CDC)? Consider carefully the times we are in before you answer this question. Remember, NOTHING was mandatory, ONLY YOUR WANTS IN LIFE!
According to Howard B. Rand in his Digest of the Divine Law,[1]
LAWS OF HEALTH
Health of the body and mind is so essential to the fulfillment of every task that before Israel came to Mount Sinai where they received the Law, it became necessary that the people be instructed in the matter of heath that they might be free from disease and sickness.
And the Lord said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the Lord thy God, and wilt do that which is right in His sight, and wilt give ear to His commandments, and keep all His statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the Lord that healeth thee (Exodus 15:26). Later on, Moses reminds Israel that the Lord thy God, He is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love Him and keep His commandments to a thousand generations; and repayeth them that hate Him to their face, to destroy them: He will not be slack to him that hateth Him, He will repay him to his face. Thou shalt therefore keep the commandments, and the statutes, and the judgments, which I command thee this day, to do them … And the Lord will take away from thee all sickness, and will put none of the evil diseases of Egypt, which thou knowest, upon thee; but will lay them upon all them that hate thee (Deuteronomy 7:9-15).
REASON FOR SICKNESS
Wherever there is disease and sickness among His people as a nation, they are refusing to keep and administer His Laws. Multitudes continue to live in pain and suffering, while countless numbers have gone to untimely graves for national failure to keep and administer the Law and individually observe the requirements for continued and uninterrupted health. Also, and importantly, there are many who have not been able to avail themselves of immunity from sickness because of ignorance of the Law and its requirements.
HEALING AVAILABLE NOW
Though the Law of health was made a statute in the nation, assuring the removal of all sickness from the people when all His commandments and statutes are kept, yet the individual does not have to wait until the nation is righteous before the blessings of continued health are available. This is because healing and health were made forever, and this statute and ordinance have never been abrogated. They are still operating for those who can claim their benefits through complying with the requirements.
We live in a strange world. Professing Christians seldom, if ever, search the Scriptures for guidance in their everyday activities and particularly is this true in the requirements for health. Certain fundamental laws are given in the Bible which, if kept, would give that health and vigor so characteristic of the life of Moses. Moses died at the age of one hundred and twenty years and the record states, His eye was not dim, nor his natural force abated (Deuteronomy 34:7).
CLEAN AND UNCLEAN ANIMALS
Man was a vegetarian in the years prior to the Deluge (Genesis 1:29). When Noah began to load the ark, he was instructed to bring in seven pairs each of the clean and one pair each of the unclean animals. This presupposes a knowledge of such classification long before similar instructions were given to Israel at Mount Sinai. After the Deluge, God added meat to the diet of man. But flesh with the life thereof, which is the blood thereof, shall ye not eat (Genesis 9:3-4).
PROMISE OF HEALING
When Israel in Egypt forgot God, they experienced the diseases of the Egyptians. At Marah, Israel received instruction as to how they might secure immunity from all sickness. While the keeping of the Law will give immunity from disease yet for those who have violated its provision healing is promised. The Psalmist had this in mind when he said, Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits: Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; Who health all thy diseases. In both cases, the conditions must be kept in order to secure both forgiveness and healing.
THOU SHALT NOT
That which men consume will mean for them either health and life or sickness and death. When finally, the full story is written, it will be found that the diseases which afflict mankind are the direct result of eating the forbidden things. The Thou shalt not of the Commandments is no more binding than the Thou shalt not eat any abominable thing.
It was not necessary to instruct Israel in the type of herbs (vegetables) and fruit they could eat, for such instruction had already been given to man during the time he was a vegetarian. The rule was simple. Man could eat the vegetables bearing seed and the fruit of the trees yielding seed. God has provided a great variety of food without violating this rule. Fungi of all kinds such as mushrooms are forbidden (Genesis 1:29).
ABOMINABLE THINGS FORBIDDEN
When Israel received the Law regarding meat, God said, Thou shalt not eat any abominable thing (Deuteronomy 14:3). Simple rules are given for our instruction, which are easy to remember. Of the four-footed animals, only those that have the cloven hoof and also chew the cud are to be meat to eat. The pig is forbidden, for although it has the cloven hoof, it does not chew the cud. Of the fish that live in the water, all can be eaten which have both fins and scales. This excludes shellfish of all kinds including lobster. Of the birds and fowls, any can be eaten which are not birds of prey, such as the eagle, vulture, and hawk, etc. The eating of blood is forbidden at all times. Veal is forbidden until the calf has been weaned. Thus, there is no danger of eating this meat when the calf is too young. The detail of these laws will be found in Deuteronomy 14 and Leviticus 11.
BROTH OF ABOMINABLE THINGS
The four-footed animals that are lawful to eat all have the double-digestive system. Through Isaiah, the Lord said of our generation, A people that provoketh Me to anger continually to My Face; that sacrificeth in gardens, and burneth incense upon altars of brick [established Church practice]; which remain among the graves, and lodge in the monuments [with burial places of their dead marked by monuments in their Churches], which eat swine’s flesh [Anglo-Saxons consume great quantities of such flesh], and broth of abominable things in their vessels [clam chowders, oyster stews, etc.] (Isaiah 65:3-4).
DISEASES OF EGYPT
Examination of the mummies of Egypt has disclosed the fact that Egyptians were subject to the diseases which afflict our nation today. God declared that the violation of His Laws would bring upon us all the diseases of Egypt, also every other sickness and plague (Deuteronomy 28:58-61). We have them all. The judgment as pronounced has come upon us. This is evidenced in the sickness and suffering for our failure to keep the law and obey the injunction, Thou shalt not eat any abominable thing.
WAY OF LIFE AND DEATH
Men are resentful when there is interference with their appetites. Christians who would not think of violating any of the Ten Commandments will deliberately violate the Laws of continued health. Later in life, when the inevitable happens, and health is gone, they blame God, though Moses said, See I have set before thee this day life and good, and death and evil; in that I command thee this day to love the Lord thy God, to walk in His ways, and to keep His commandments and His statutes and His judgments that thou mayest live and multiply (Deuteronomy 30:15-16). Can God be blamed when men deliberately choose the way of death? Because the penalties for such Law violation are deferred, in some cases until life has nearly run its full course, men harden their hearts and Christians cite New Testament passages to justify themselves in the sins they commit.
SANCTIFIED MEAT
Paul told Timothy that meat was to be eaten, provided it was sanctified (that is, set apart) by the Word of God (I Timothy 4:4-5). The only Word of God for Timothy was the Old Testament wherein we have a list of meats set apart for man to eat.
PETER’S VISION
Some cite Peter’s vision wherein he saw a sheet let down from heaven with all manner of four-footed animals and creeping things upon it to justify the eating of abominable things. Read that vision carefully (Acts 10:10-28) and note that Peter did not slay and eat. After he awoke, he knew no vision could set aside the plain teachings of Scripture. As he pondered the meaning of the vision, there came men from Cornelius’ house inquiring for him. Peter himself then explains the vision, God hath showed me that I should not call any man common or unclean. To put any other interpretation to this vision than that given by Peter is to change the meaning of the Word of God.
Jesus said, Not that which goes into the mouth defileth a man; but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man (Matthew 15:11). This had nothing to do with the eating of forbidden foods. Jesus in answering the Pharisees who had complained that His disciples were eating with unwashed hands was showing that that kind of dirt did not defile.
MEAT OFFERED TO IDOLS
Paul said, I know, and am persuaded by the Lord Jesus, that there is nothing unclean of itself: but to him that esteemeth any thing to be unclean, to him it is unclean (Romans 14:14). The context and other utterances of Paul clearly show he had reference to meat which had been offered to idols. Whatsoever is sold in the shambles [marketplace], that eat, asking no question for conscience sake (1 Corinthians 10:25). The forbidden meats were not sold in the market, but there were meats sold which had been offered to idols. Paul instructs the Christian not to inquire as to whether or not they had been so offered for from their point of view the idol was nothing. The New Testament in no way contradicts the Old Testament and when men recognize this, they will begin to search the entire Book for all of its truth!
HEALING IN ATONEMENT
The Psalm cited above, referring to the forgiving of iniquity and the healing of diseases makes healing a part of the atoning work of our Lord. It is not the purpose of God that any of His people should suffer. Sickness is the result of failure to comply with the Laws of health. Healing is a gift of God through His Son Jesus Christ, who made a demonstration of the Kingdom Laws of healing and health in operation. He restored the lame, the halt, and the blind, to a state of physical perfection and healed all diseases. Isaiah prophesied of coming Kingdom blessings, the benefits of which Jesus so successfully demonstrated, Strengthen ye the weak hands, and confirm the feeble knees. Say to them that are of a fearful heart, Be strong, fear not: behold, your God will come with vengeance, even God with a recompense; He will come and save you. Then the eyes of the blind shall be open, and ears of the deaf shall be unstopped. Then shall the lame man leap as an hart, and the tongue of the dumb sing (Isaiah 35:3-6).
ORDINANCE IN THE CHURCH
Healing is also an ordinance in the Church. James said, Is any sick among you Let him call for the elders of the Church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him (James 5:14-15).
SEEKING THE PHYSICIANS
Nationally, we refuse to keep and administer the Law and pay a fearful price in crippled men and women with untold suffering, pain, and death: while individually we seek the physicians instead of the Lord. An eloquent testimony of the results of such a course is given regarding Asa, King of Israel, And Asa in the thirty and ninth year of his reign was diseased in his feet, until his disease was exceeding great; yet in his disease he sought not to the Lord, but to the physicians. And Asa slept with his fathers (2 Chronicles 16:12-13).
Heath being one of man’s most valuable assets – as evidenced in the fortunes continually spent by those who, having lost it, seek to regain its blessings again – has led us to deal first with the statute and ordinance received by Israel before they arrived at the foot of Mount Sinai.
Which leads us to relying on the vaccines and pharmaceutical drugs to protect us from these so-called novel diseases of today, which were manufactured in either American, Chinese, and/or Ukrainian bio-laboratories. Did you know that the Pharmaceutical Industry is the leading cause of death in the United States and the leading criminal organization in the world, right up there with W.H.O.?[2] Because of this, here are:
TWELVE REASONS WHY I WILL NOT TAKE THE COVID-19 VACCINE:
I am a born-again, Bible believing Christian. I do not need nor desire a mandated vaccine to protect me. My religious beliefs are tied directly to Scriptural precepts as set forth in the Bible:
- My body is the temple of the Holy Spirit.
Romans 8:11: And if the Spirit of Him who raised up Jesus from the dead dwelleth in you, He who hath raised up the Christ from the dead will quicken even those dead bodies of yours by His Spirit which dwelleth in you.
1 Corinthians 3:17: If any one corrupt the temple of God, him God will destroy; for the temple of God is holy.
1 Corinthians 6:19-20: Do you not know that your body is a temple of a holy spirit in you, which you have from God? Indeed, you are not your own; for you have been bought with a price. Therefore, glorify God with your body and with your spirit which are His.
- It is my choice to serve the Lord and my choice of what I allow to be put in my body.
Joshua 24:15: But if it seemeth not good to you to serve the Lord, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, either the gods of your fathers who were at Beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord; for He is Holy.
Galatians 5:13: for you, brethren, have been called to liberty; only let not that liberty be an advantage to the flesh; but be servants to another by offices of love.
- I am not afraid of the COVID-19 Virus which currently has a survival rate of 99.9%.
[God says, Do Not Fear 365 Times in the Bible.]
The actual word, fear, appears over 500 times in the NKJV of the Bible. Some variations are Do not fear, Shall not fear, Will not fear, Fear not just to list a few.
- I will not make a decision out of fear, neither fear of the virus nor fear of losing my job.
2 Timothy 1:7: For God hath not given us a spirit of cowardice, but of power, and love, and a sound mind. Be not therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, not of me who am a prisoner on his account;
- No Plague will come near me.
Exodus 15:26: and said, If thou wilt hearken to the voice of the Lord thy God, and do the things well pleasing in His sight, and hearken to His commandments, and keep all these His rules of rectitude, I will not bring upon thee any of the diseases which I brought on the Egyptians, for I am the Lord thy God Who health thee.
Psalm 91:10: no evils shall come upon thee, nor shall a scourge approach thy dwelling.
Psalm 97:6: The heavens declared His saving goodness: and all the peoples saw His glory.
- God protects me.
Psalm 91:1-16: HE who dwelleth under the protection of the Most High shall lodge in the shelter of the God of Heaven. He will say to the Lord, Thou are my helper: my God is my refuge, I will trust in Him. Because He will deliver thee from the snare of hunters; and tumultuous accusation – with His breast will overshadow thee: therefore under His wings thou shalt rest secure. His truth will encompass thee with armor. Thou shalt not be afraid of the terror by night; nor of the arrow which flieth by day – of the thing which walketh in darkness; nor of mischance and the demon of noonday.
A thousand may fall at thy side; and then thousand at thy right hand: but it shall not approach thee. But thou with thine eyes shalt observe, and see the reward of the wicked. For thou hast made the Lord, Who is my hope, the Most High, thy refuge; no evils shall come upon thee, nor shall a scourge approach thy dwelling. For He will give His angels a charge concerning thee; to keep thee in all thy ways; with their hands they shall bear thee up; shouldst thou chance to strike thy foot against a stone. Upon an asp and a basilisk thou shalt tread: and trample down a lion and a dragon.
Because he trusted in Me, I will deliver him: I will protect him because he knew My name. He will call on Me, and I will answer him: I am with him in affliction: I will deliver him and honor him. With length of days I will satisfy him; and I will shew him My salvation.
Proverbs 18:10: The name of the Lord is of majestic power; and the righteous having recourse to it shall be exalted.
Isaiah 41:10: Fear not, for I am with thee; be not led astray, for I am thy God. I have strengthened thee and helped thee, and secured thee with My just right hand.
Romans 8:2: For the Law of the spirit of the life in Christ Jesus hath freed me from the Law of sin and death; for as it was out of the power of Law to do this,
Ephesians 6:12-13: Because our conflict is not barely with flesh and blood, but against the principalities and the powers – against the rulers of this dark age, against the spiritual [assaults]of the wickedness in the heavenly dispensation; take up therefore the complete armor of God, that you may be able to make resistance in the evil day, and having put a stop to them all, to maintain your ground.
2 Thessalonians 3:3: But the Lord is faithful, and will establish you, and guard you from the wicked one:
- God heals me.
Exodus 15:26: and said, If thou wilt hearken to the voice of the Lord thy God, and do the things well pleasing in His sight, and hearken to His commandments, and keep all these His rules of rectitude, I will not bring upon thee any of the diseases which I brought on the Egyptians, for I am the Lord thy God Who health thee.
Exodus 23:25: and worship the Lord thy God. And I will bless thy bread and thy wine and thy water and turn away sickness from you.
Deuteronomy 32:39: See! See! That I am the Self-Existent, and that there is no God besides Me; I kill, and I can cause to live, I can smite and I can heal, and none can rescue out of My hand-
Psalm 91:3-6: Because He will deliver thee from the snare of hunters; and tumultuous accusation – with His breast will overshadow thee: therefore under His wings thou shalt rest secure. His truth will encompass thee with armor. Psalm 103:1-5: BLESS the Lord, O my soul; and all within me, His holy name. Bless the Lord, O my soul; and forget not all the praises of Him; Who pardoneth all thine iniquities; Who health all thy diseases;
Isaiah 39:16: O Lord, by these things men live, and in all these things is the life of my spirit: so wilt thou recover me, and make me to live.
Jeremiah 17:14: Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed. Save me, and I shall be saved. Because Thou art my boast, behold they say to me,
Jeremiah 30:17: Because I will bring up the cure for thee I will cure thee, saith the Lord, of thy painful wound; because thou wast called the Outcast, the hunt is up after thee. Because there is none who seeketh this outcast,
Matthew 10:8: Heal the sick; cleanse lepers; raise the dead; cast out demons; freely you have received; give freely.
James 5:14-15: Is any among you sick, let him send for the elders of the congregation, and let them pray over him, having anointed him with oil in the name of the Lord.
1 Peter 2:24: who himself offered up our sins in His own body on the cross, that we, being freed from those sins, might live for righteousness; by whose stripes you have been healed.
- If I should die, I go to eternal life with Jesus Christ.
Matthew 25:46: So, these shall go to everlasting punishment and the righteous to an everlasting life.
John 3:16: For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him may not perish, but have everlasting life.
John 5:24-25: He who heareth My Word, and believeth on Him who sent Me, hath an everlasting life, and doth not incur condemnation, but hath passed from death to that life.
John 6:47-50: Verily, verily, I say to you, He who believeth in Me, hath an everlasting life. I am the bread of that life. Your fathers are the manna in the wilderness and died. Such is the bread which cometh down from heaven, that whoever shall eat of it shall not die.
John 11:25: Jesus said to her, I am the resurrection and the life; he who believeth in Me, though he may die, shall live. And none who liveth and believeth in Me shall ever die.
Romans 6:23: For the wages of sin is death; but the free gift of God is everlasting life by Christ Jesus our Lord.
1 Corinthians 2:9: which as it is written, “Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man conceived;” which God hath prepared for them who love Him; and which God hath revealed to us by His Spirit.
- I am to obey God rather than man.
John 14:15: If you love Me, keep My Commandments,
John 15:14: You are My Friends, if you do what I command you.
Acts 5:29: In reply to which Peter and the apostles said, We must obey God rather than men.
2 John 1:6: that we love one another; and this love is, that we may walk according to His commandments. This is the commandment, as you have heard from the beginning, that you may walk therein.
- I trust God rather than man who is fallible.
Psalm 118:8: It is better to confide in the Lord than to confide in man;
Proverbs 14:12: There is a way which seemeth right to a man; but the end of it is at the bottom of Hades.
Isaiah 2:22: Cease ye from man, whose breath is in his nostrils: for wherein is he to be accounted of?
- The pharmaceutical companies that developed the vaccine(s), used fetal cell cultures in order to produce and manufacture the vaccine and for proof of concept. I believe that life begins at conception and that all life is precious. The fact that aborted fetuses were used in the development of the vaccine(s) is abhorrent to me.
Psalm 139:13-16: Because Thou, O Lord, hast possessed my reins – hast supported me from my mother’s womb; I will adore Thee, for Thou art awfully wonderful. Thy works are wonderful; as my soul well knoweth. From Thee was not concealed this bone of mine; which Thou in secret didst fashion. When my substance was in the lowest parts of the earth; Thine eyes beheld the unwrought part of me. When on Thy book all shall be enrolled; they will day by day be fashioned.
Jeremiah 1:4-5: This word of the Lord came to him: Before I formed thee in the womb, I knew thee, and before thou wast born I hallowed thee. I have appointed thee a prophet for nations.
- I believe that we are living in the End Times. It is the time where the ability to buy and sell, the ability to have independent thought and action, and the ability to carry on life as normal has been curtailed by the continuing political pressure to take the mark of the beast. While I am not convinced that the COVID-19 vaccination is the mark, it certainly is affecting the way people are able to live out their lives and with those not vaccinated being treated differently than those who are. If the shot is not the mark of the beast, the COVID-19 vaccine is a precursor and a sign of things to come. As such, I will not comply.
Revelation 13:16-18: And it causeth all both little and great, both rich and poor, both freemen and slaves to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, and that none should buy or sell, but he who hath the mark, or the name of the beast or the number of its name. Here is wisdom. Let him who hath understanding calculate the number of the beast; for its number is that of a man and its number is 666.
