What Are You Thinking About This Year?

Happy New Year Everyone!

Every year, the majority of people always make a New Year’s “Resolution,” which, of course, gets cast aside somewhere down the line due to “unforeseen” circumstances, which is code for losing interest in what you were doing, of which we are all guilty!

However, with that being said, I think that the better thing to consider as we get closer to the Second Coming “Parousia” of YAHSHUA Jesus the Christ, is how are we spending our time, especially in this New Year of 2025.

Over here in Asia, people are getting ready to celebrate the Chinese Lunar New Year as the Year of the Snake.  From my perspective, that is rather ominous, considering the days in which we are living.

We know who the snake/serpent is from Revelation 20:1-3 which states, “Then I (John) saw an angel coming down out of Heaven, having the key of the bottomless gulf and a great chain in his hand; and he laid hold on the dragon, the old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan and bound him a thousand years and cast him into the bottomless gulf and shut him up, and sealed it on him that he might not lead the nations astray any more until the thousand years were ended.”

So, based on the above verse, we know that “the old serpent” is directly referencing “the serpent” in Genesis Chapter 3, who “beguiled” Eve into obviously touching the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil, and eating of its fruit, which she was commanded by Father YAHWEH NOT TO DO!  By the way, if you haven’t thought about the meaning of Genesis 3:15, and studied what the term, “seed,” means, then you need to do that right away.  Genesis 3:15 is known as “The Protoevangelium,” also known as “The First Gospel.”

“Seed” in the Hebrew is the word, “zera,” and in the Greek, the word is “sperma” or “spermos,” which literally means, “seed,” “offspring,” and “progeny.”  In other words, it refers to the literal “children” of the woman and “the serpent.”

Also, according the Chinese “Zodiac,” 2026 is the Year of the Horse and 2027 is the Year of the Sheep.  I find this rather curious for myself because I was born in August of 1967.  According to our “Mazzaroth,” I was born under the sign of The Lion of the Tribe of Judah, and according to the Chinese Zodiac, I was born under the sign of The Sheep.  What does this mean?  It is something that I think about.  And, before we go any further, NO, I emphatically do not believe in Astrology!  That is witchcraft. Period. End of story.

Which brings us back to The Year of the Snake…what does this really mean and just what circumstances and/or challenges will we be faced with in 2025?  Do you have your Vicks Vapo Rub ready?

So, now that you know how my mind is working these days, what are you spending your time thinking about?  Are you worried about the cares of this world (system), which is Mystery Babylon, or has Father YAHWEH put it on your heart to spend more time with Him and with YAHSHUA Jesus the Christ?  For it is only when we spend time with HIM in both The Old Testament AND The New Testament that we can think about the harder subjects of which the Bible speaks with the Holy Spirit as our Teacher.  YAHSHUA placed the Bar very high to gain the Crown of Life – we must be Overcomers in this world (system) of our time as He Overcame the world (system) of His Time.  Are you rising up to the challenge that has been put before each and every one of us, or are you resting on your laurels putting your trust in the Babylonian Priesthood, that is behind the pulpit every Sunday preaching the Babylonian system of their theology, which is based on the traditions of the elders, NOT The Bible!  By the way, Pew Research came out with a survey that there are around 47,000 denominations in the world.  Do you know which one our of the 47,000 has 100% of the TRUTH?  The answer to that is obviously, “No,” and I don’t either, and I’m not willing to stake my salvation on any one of those 47,000 belief systems, which are based on the traditions of the elders.  However, I am willing to stake my salvation on The Word of God and the Blood of our Lord and Savior YAHSHUA Jesus the Christ and for what He did for us on “the Cross,” “stakos” in the Greek!

So, if you are putting your trust in a man and/or a woman to save you, you’re crawling up the wrong “Tree.”  All of us should only put our faith, hope, and trust in Our Kinsman Redeemer, YAHSHUA Jesus the Christ for HE ALONE is the only “safe place” to be in these Times of Tribulation.

So, what are you going to think about this year?

YAHWEH Bless!
