SCIENCE

The connections between science and the Bible are highly controversial, with different models of how science and religion relate to each other. One approach is the Biblical perspective. Some people argue that the Bible is relevant and that the Bible and science work in tandem. Many may feel that the Bible sheds light on the past and the present and that the past’s Biblical truths are so cohesive that it is logical in what we see in reality. Other people take the secular approach that seeks to uphold science and religion as entirely different ideologies that seek to explain different parts of human knowledge. Some people may consider that science must explain things in a natural manner, and has no explanation for the existence of a god or anything supernatural. Some scientists and theologians do, however, find that their faith in God and the evidence for evolution is not in competition. Some may think that the Bible and science should not be in opposition, rather complementing one another and borrowing ideas from scientists and philosophers alike.
